Dolly Parton just launched a new coffee brand, Cup of Ambition, inspired by her hit song, “9 to 5.”
An Instagram post for the new coffee reads, “Launching in partnership with @communitycoffee, get a first taste of our Light, Medium and Dark roasts at Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop opening June 24!”
A “full portfolio” of coffee will launch later this year.
“I’ve spent a lifetime workin’ 9 to 5, 5 to 9, and every hour in between! It takes a lot of energy to pursue your passion and navigate each day. That’s why I wanted to make a coffee that works just as hard,” Parton said.
“You know, I begin each morning with a head full of dreams, a notepad full of ideas and a cup or two of coffee,” added the country music legend. “Whether you’re chasing dreams, tackling that to-do list or just enjoying a quiet morning at home. I hope it brings a smile with every sip.”
Community Coffee said Parton’s embodiment of warmth and hard work lines up with its values.

“This partnership felt right from the very first conversation, and Cup of Ambition is something our family is truly proud and honored to put our name behind,” said Donna Saurage, third generation owner of Community Coffee.
Parton’s first Tennessean Travel Stop will open in Connersville, Tennessee, on June 24.
“Located at exit 22 off I-65, guests can enjoy DLY BBQ, a fresh cup of Dolly’s Cup of Ambition Coffee, custom merch and a full-service restaurant, all inspired by the spirit of the open road,” an Instagram post for the Travel Stop reads.
The stop includes a dog park, fuel pumps, a restaurant, a mural, lounges, an event space, Parton’s tour bus, some EV charging stations, a general store and a coffee shop. It’s the first of several Travel Stops to come.
“A true gathering place for both travelers and the local community, the travel stop is the first of many planned locations, born from the partnership between global superstar Dolly Parton and her manager Danny Nozell, and Gregory H. Sachs, who has owned and operated the trusted Tennessean Travel Stop brand since 2017,” Dolly’s Travel Stops website says. “Inspired by Dolly’s lifelong connection to the open road, from her childhood in the hills of East Tennessee to decades spent touring the world by bus, the venture reimagines what a roadside stop can be.”
Parton is already in the hospitality business with several hotels and her own theme park. Now fans will get some of the Dolly experience in every cup of joe.
