Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Kelcey Wetterberg married Nate Crnkovich last month, and she is so thankful to God for the special day and her now husband.
“This wedding is a dream come true,” the AMERICA’S SWEETHEARTS: DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS star told PEOPLE. “My wedding day is always something I wondered about as a young girl…but I don’t think I ever could have imagined one as beautiful as this. God couldn’t have given me a better husband!”

Because both parties have large families, the couple chose to have two ceremonies back-to-back, with over 300 people at the second ceremony.
“We knew from the start that it would be a big wedding because both of our families are really big, and we, of course, wanted everyone there! My main vision was just to simply have all of the people that we loved there with us to celebrate such a big step in our lives. The people were our main priority, and we wanted to make it a fun celebration of love!” Wetterberg explained.
PEOPLE snagged some exclusive photos. “The breakout star of AMERICA’S SWEETHEARTS: DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS tied the knot with her boyfriend of four years, actor and registered nurse Nate Crnkovich, on Monday, Dec. 30, in a ‘very intimate’ ceremony at a Catholic Church with just their immediate families,” the outlet wrote on Instagram.
But for the cheerleader, marriage is about more than just a big party.
“Marriage to me is about dedicating your life to someone else and two people putting each other’s needs above their own,” she explained. “Promising your life to someone in front of God and staying true to that promise is such a beautiful representation of service to the highest degree. It’s such a beautiful thing getting to love and be loved unconditionally.”

“It was such a beautiful day, he made me feel so loved and special!…I love just getting to do life with Nate by my side,” she said. “I look forward to all of the new memories, experiences, and the family we will hopefully get to create.”
At the beginning of December, Wetterberg posted her engagement photos. “The time has come…it’s our wedding month! I love you more than anything 🤍” she said.
