Great American Media is deepening its ties to the faith community with a VP hire who has spent two decades bridging church ministry and corporate communications.
Great American Media announced on June 23, 2026, that Jennifer Nickerson will join the company as Vice President of Ministry & Community Engagement. In the role, she will lead outreach efforts with churches, ministries, and faith-based organizations nationwide, working closely with leadership on partnerships, live events and strategic collaborations aligned with the company’s values-driven mission.
“Jennifer brings a rare combination of professional communications experience, ministry leadership, and a genuine heart for people,” said Kaitlyn Haubrich, Chief Brand Officer and Chief of Staff at Great American Media. “As Great American Media continues to grow, Jennifer will help strengthen our connection with ministries, churches, organizations, and audiences who care deeply about trusted, uplifting content and meaningful engagement.”
Nickerson brings an unusual combination to the role. Her professional career spans media relations, corporate communications, external affairs and community engagement, but she has spent equal time behind a pulpit. She served as Worship Pastor at Fellowship of the Parks and led worship at Milestone Church, Trinity Baptist Church, Upper Room Dallas, Christ Church Irving and Shady Grove Church — all in Texas.
“Having grown up in a Christian home and serving in ministry and community outreach from a young age, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of faith-filled, positive, and Kingdom-minded content and authentic connection,” Nickerson said. “My experiences at Christ for the Nations Institute, Dallas Baptist University, and more than 20 years in marketing, media, and communications have prepared me well for this role. This opportunity with Great American Media brings together my passion for ministry, community engagement, relationship building, and strategic communication into one meaningful mission. Before joining Great American Media, Nickerson served as President and CEO of JEN Ambitions, LLC, leading communications and brand messaging for organizations across television, radio, digital media and live events. She also held leadership roles at Happy State Bank, Oliver Fox Advertising and Express Working Capital.
Great American Media was founded in June 2021 by CEO Bill Abbott and a group of US-based family offices.
