Singer Tauren Wells shows support for Christian influencer Cia Cloud as she shares how faith helped her through a difficult recovery following a car crash.

“God shows up when you least expect it,” Wells wrote over a video of himself, then re-sharing a video Cloud posted, where Wells’ “What A Miracle Feels Like” plays in the background.

In text over the video, she wrote, “This summer I was hit by a drunk driver at 140 mph. Despite surviving, I had a severe concussion that I had to learn to live with. It resulted in a lot of chronic pain and bitterness. I wanted to give up. But God was faithful to continue my story anyways. I kept teaching, and graduated.”

In another Instagram post, Cloud celebrated her graduation and degree, writing, “I am so honored to have a masters in Bible and Theology to continue sharing the good news with the world. This is one of the hardest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done. All I can say is thank you Jesus for not giving up on me.”

The influencer, who also hosts “The Breaking Bread Podcast,” often shares faith-based content online, whether it’s reflections on her own relationship with God or tips for others who are looking to strengthen their connection to Christ.

“I do a lot of creative work with my faith. This consists of anything from making 60-second TikTok’s about what I’m learning in my faith journey to speaking at conferences across the country,” she told Voyage Ohio in a 2022 interview. “I’m most proud of the fact that none of this is for my glory. God has sincerely changed my heart to want God’s name known over me every day. What set me apart was my willingness to be different from others when I truly accepted God into my heart.”

Cloud continued, “Living for an audience of one is my life saying. And while living for God, I’ve found that people who are listening to my story want the vulnerability of a real walk with Him, the ups, the downs, everything. I used to think being myself online would never be worthwhile. I mean it’s not always pretty. But the people supporting me changed my entire perspective.”

“Artificial Christianity and feel-good messages with no depth aren’t ultimately worth changing your life for. But real, raw faith moves people,” she concluded. “Yes, some people judge, but more often than not authenticity is loved as a result of the hope it brings.”

Cloud’s story is an example of how God can see us through anything, no matter how difficult it might be.
