Christian actor Stephen Baldwin and his brother Alec are “OK” after a car crash Monday.
“Hey, I’m getting a lot of messages about the accident that Alec was in today, the car accident and I just want you to know he’s OK, Stephen is OK, everybody is OK,” Hilaria Baldwin posted on Instagram. “No one was hurt and that’s the most important thing. So I love you and thank you, thank you, thank you for caring.”
Alec shared details about the incident on his own social media account:
“I was in a car accident this morning, I’m fine,” Alec began. “My brother Stephen was out visiting me on Rhode Island, and we spent the weekend out there for the film festival.”
He continued: “I was in this car accident, guy cut me off with a truck, agarbage truck the size of a whale. Never seen a garbage truck [that big]. It must have been something commercial for, like taking away material from construction or something. It was the biggest garbage truck I’ve ever seen any anyway. I won’t go into the details now and bore you, but to avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree and crushed my car. At my wife’s car.”
Fox News Digital reports a spokesperson for East Hampton Town Police Department confirmed a white 2023 Range Rover, operated by Alec, with passenger Stephen, was found to have struck a tree on the Eastbound shoulder of the roadway while avoiding the turning action of a 2020 Mack commercial truck, registered to National Waste Services out of Bay Shore, NY.
“Thank you to the East Hampton Police Department, the town police department, for coming to my aid,” Alec said.
Stephen has not posted an update on his accounts since the incident. His last update hinted at a new movie with Kat Von D, who recently converted to Orthodox Christianity.
