Former JERSEY SHORE party boy Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino turned his life over to God and now encourages others to do the same.
“God saved my life from the fiery pits of hell, but on one condition — I go back in with buckets of water to save others, and that’s why we have this book,” he said in a recent Instagram video.
His book, titled Reality Check which came out in 2024, details how Sorrentino overcame “addiction, loss, and prison.” A description reads, “Mike paints a raw and uncensored picture of his rise to stardom, steep fall and amazing renaissance, all told with unwavering honesty. Divulging everything from drug-fueled orgies to what really happened behind the scenes of reality television’s most loved and dysfunctional family, Mike’s book reveals all for the first time.”
In the comment section of his Instagram post, he said, “God saved me from the fiery pits of hell with a purpose. To go back and help pull other people out too. That’s why I wrote my book. To share the setbacks, the lessons, the comeback, and to let people know that one bad chapter does not mean your story is over.”

Because of how he experienced God change his life, Sorrentino co-founded the Archangel Centers, an addiction recovery program based out of New Jersey to help those who have been down the same road he has.
“This was never supposed to stop with me,” he wrote. “Because I made it out, and now I’m coming back with buckets of water.”
People in the comment section celebrated Sorrentino’s faith. “So proud of him!!! I grew up watching the situation lol! Such a different man!” one person said. Another fan added, “The fruit of the Spirit is so visible in this man! Praise God!! Hallelujah!! Christ is King!”
His work with Archangel Centers is changing lives.

Sorrentino’s testimony is an encouragement that God can set anyone free who is willing. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here!”
If God can save Mike “The Situation,” He can certainly do the same for you.
