Samsung announced the launch of the Samsung Television Network, which will be “the broad-FAST channel of the future,” at the NewFronts presentation in New York.
According to Deadline, Samsung Television Network will be the home “of the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming tour and will also feature live sports offerings and library fare including David Letterman and Conan O’Brien late-night episodes and library standouts like KILLING EVE.”
FAST channels are digital streaming services similar to cable TV but provide free on-demand content for users
While on stage in New York, Letterman voiced his concerns that clips of his late-night show were “free-fallin’ through the internet.” He explained that his new channel and the agreement with Samsung will make “it possible to have them all in one place.”
The Letterman channel “features an abstract logo with Letterman’s signature beard and glasses.”
“When I first saw it, I said, ‘that guy looks pretty cool. Oh, wait – that’s me,’” Letterman said.
In addition to Letterman, others joining the service include Michelle Khare, Smosh, The Try Guys, Epic Gardening, The Sorry Girls and Donut Media.

The Samsung Television Network will offer “an extensive slate of live sports, music, movies, and late-night programming, which will give brands unique opportunities to tap into the full power of the Samsung TV ecosystem at an unrivaled scale,” Samsung explained in a press release.
“It’s no longer enough for marketers to justify the status quo — they need breakthrough performance, and that’s exactly what Samsung Ads is built to deliver,” Vice President & Head of Ad Sales & Operations at Samsung Ads, Michael Scott, said. “This year, we’re empowering our partners to go beyond the limits of traditional CTV with next-gen innovation, strategic partnerships, and tools that turn attention into action and media into measurable impact.”
“As the #1 streaming service on Samsung TVs, we’re not just following viewer trends — we’re shaping them,” SVP and Global Head of Samsung TV Plus, Sam Brodsky, added. “Through deep insights and personalized curation, we’re delivering the content audiences love in an unbeatable format. We’re rewriting the rules of streaming and teaming up with A-list talent to bring exclusive entertainment to the biggest screen in the home. This strategy has fueled more than 30% viewership growth this year, and with our newly announced partnerships, we’re positioning Samsung TV Plus for even greater momentum and market leadership in the year ahead.”
Samsung hopes its new Samsung Television Network will keep the company at the forefront of the FAST-channel boom. It’s available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus.
