Actor Adan Canto Dies After Cancer Battle: ‘Treasures in Heaven’

2 HEARTS star Adan Canto died after a battle with appendiceal cancer. He was 42.
“Forever my treasure Adan, see you soon 💔,” his wife, Stephanie Ann Canto, posted on Instagram along with Matthew 6:19-21:
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Canto and his wife were married in June 2017.
“Experienced the time of my Life amongst the most amazing people on my wedding day…I am truly blessed to have this woman by my side,” he said of their wedding.
They shared son, Roman Alder, 3½, and daughter, Eve Josephine, 1½.
“Thank you for being the model of man,” Stephanie posted on Instagram for Father’s Day in 2022. “The kind our son will want to become and our daughter will want to find.”
Canto, known for his roles in DESIGNATED SURVIVOR and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, also starred in 2020’s 2 HEARTS.
“For two couples the future unfolds in different decades and different places, but a hidden connection will bring them together in a way no one could have predicted,” IMDB summarized.
“It’s kind of a blessing to be reminded of how fleeting life is and and the importance of every moment, the importance of every relationship,” Canto told Movieguide® of his role in the movie. “You really want to savor it and enjoy it as much as you can.”
