Chick-fil-A Tops List for Customer Satisfaction Despite ‘Long Waits’

A new survey by QRS reports that Chick-fil-A outshines the nation’s nine other most popular fast-food chains when it comes to drive-thru customer service.
“Chick-fil-A…topped the customer service chart with a friendly rating of 91 percent. No other brand was above 79 percent,” QRS reported.
Other restaurants in the survey included McDonalds, Taco Bell, KFC and Wendy’s, among others.
The company, which prizes its customer service values, also came in first when it comes to order accuracy at 92%. Burger King came close at 90%.
“Chick-fil-A scored high in customer service, despite the long waits, because of its unique friendly-focused system,” Christian Headlines reported.
QRS also notes that the infamous chicken sandwich chain comes in last when it comes to service time in the drive-thru, even though it averaged 29 seconds faster than it did in 2022. But it has a longer delivery time because it has the most cars in line—more than twice most of its peers.
Chick-fil-A’s customer service values stem from its founder’s faith. Movieguide® previously reported on Chick-fil-A‘s values:
While many restaurant chains focus on profit and business growth, former Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy recently shared that the mission behind America’s favorite fast food chain is to “glorify God.”
“At Chick-fil-A, we are very grounded on our corporate purpose, to be a purpose-driven organization,” Cathy recently shared. “That purpose is defined in the statement that we’re here to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that’s entrusted to us and have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A.”
The chain is known for closing all of its restaurants on Sundays without exception. It states the reason why in its policy—so that “Operators and their team members [may] enjoy a day of rest, be with their families and loved ones, and worship if they choose.”
