Danny Gokey Shares the Power of God’s Faithfulness at Concerts

Christian worship singer Danny Gokey is on a mission to ignite hope and spread the message of God’s unwavering faithfulness at his concerts this year.
“The Bible says that without faith, it’s impossible to please God. In Ephesians, it says that we are saved by grace through what?” Gokey recently asked his audience at one of his concerts.
“Faith!” the crowd replied.
One of Gokey’s goals as a musician is to encourage people to have faith in God, which is why he goes beyond just singing about it at his concerts.
“Sounds like faith is important,” he continued. “There’s a lot more scripture to it, but let me tell you this: faith is the substance of things hoped for. What are you hoping for today?”
“It’s the evidence of things not seen, but it’s a substance. Listen, by faith, they conquered mountains. By faith, they took down armies,” he continued.
“By faith! Come on!” Gokey shouted. “Abraham had a child at 100 years old. By faith, Samson, at the end of his life…God worked it out that everything worked for his good, even at the end, after all the mistakes.”
He then declared the lyrics of his song, “Stand in Faith,” over the audience.
Some of the song’s lyrics are:

To see miracles happen that no one can fathom as heaven invades
It’s more than a feeling
And it’s anchored in praise
And when it’s the darkest it reaches the farthest and opens the way
The artist told K-Love that he wrote the song to be a declaration for people to proclaim over their lives, to reassure them of the miracles that God can do.
He said, “Faith brings our hopes into reality. It’s the confidence and trust in God that’s needed to acquire the things we long for but don’t yet see. Faith invites God in to work on our behalf.”
“More now than ever before, faith should be our bedrock and our foundation,” he continued. “I pray this song revives the hearts of many who listen to it and gives them the needed fuel to persevere in any difficult situation.”

“I believe there is something musically and inspirationally for everyone on this album – it’s full of hope and encouragement that I think we can all use right now,” Danny Gokey told The Christian Beat of his 12-track album…
“For me, it starts with a prayer,” Gokey told The Christian Post. “I do this every record. And I feel like … as I keep growing, [God’s] downloading more. I pray, ‘Lord, You’re the greatest lyricist of all time. I want to say what You’re saying. I want to speak what You’re speaking.’
“By faith, I get ready to receive. I don’t hear audible voices. I just, by faith, receive that God’s going to speak and write through me, and I start paying attention,” Gokey added.
