Fox News Host Emily Compagno’s Secret for Life: ‘Faith, Gratitude, Inherent Joy’

Fox News host Emily Compagno revealed her secret to living life to the full.

“Faith, gratitude and inherent joy. And a large battery pack attached to my side,” Compagno told fellow Fox host Dana Perino.

Compagno, who co-hosts OUTNUMBERED, also opened up about her unusual career path and how she relies on God no matter where life takes her.

She’s worked as a criminal defense attorney, NFL cheerleader and TV anchor.

“The common denominator in my background is I was always pursuing a passion mixed with an opportunity,” Compagno told TheWrap.

“How do you embrace and navigate surprises or unexpected turns in life?” Perino asked.

“Always walk by faith,” Compagno responded. “All things work for the good of those who love the Lord, and He has ordered all our steps! On the earthly side, follow your dreams, listen to your heart and never give up. You are always enough!”

Her secret to success?

“Leading a purpose-driven life while honoring God and serving others, surrounded by loved ones, supported by deep, connective relationships, maintaining internal peace and laughing every day with your other half,” Compagno said. “Add in strong coffee, good books on the shelves, a family recipe on the stove, nature right outside your front door and a four-legged best friend — and success just turned into heaven.”

The host also reflected on her love for her country, sharing the one word she would use to describe America.

“Freedom! The freedom to exercise our spirit of independence, to live fully and without encumbrances, to avail ourselves of all America has to offer, because we are indeed the Land of the Free — thanks to the protection of the Brave,” Compagno said.

She’s a strong supporter of the armed forces, hailing from a military family.

“I am committed to bringing awareness to the needs of our United States service members and veterans, and to the selfless individuals and organizations dedicated to getting those needs met,” Compagno wrote previously.

She encourages others to support service members in any way they can: “Fly Old Glory at your home! Shine that blue light bulb over your front porch. Be vocal about your support so that you serve as a model for others that gratitude is real and patriotism thrives. Support veteran/LEO/1R-owned businesses. Support smart legislation that directly benefits those communities.”
