Family, Christian Movies Dominate the Independent Film Market
As in recent years, family and Christian movies have dominated the independent film market serving 1,000 theaters or less in the United States and Canada.
In fact, the two best-selling movies this year that appeared in 1,000 theaters or less so far were the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus concert movie and the Christian movie FIREPROOF, which has made more than $26 million, for a whopping $28,729 per screen average!
Please help MOVIEGUIDE® get this extremely positive good news out to the top studio executives that run Hollywood and who are, in many ways, the primary teachers of our youth.

We’re sustained by donations averaging about $25. Only a tiny portion of our readers give. If everyone reading this right now gave $7, our fundraiser would be done within an hour. That’s right, the price of one movie ticket is all we need. If Movieguide® is useful to you, please take one minute to keep it online and growing. Thank you.
