GAF Star Matthew Morrison Says Uplifting Content is ‘Vital in the World’

While at the Movieguide® Awards, Great American Family star Matthew Morrison shared why he believes uplifting content is invaluable to parents.
“I think [positive entertainment is] incredibly important because, you know, as a parent myself, seeing the stuff that is out there and just so easily accessible to people, to have a place where you can go and just know that you’re gonna be taken care of and safe…especially for your children, it’s very vital in the world we live in today,” he said.
Morrison’s movie, A PARIS CHRISTMAS WALTZ, is up for Movieguide®’s Epiphany Prize® for Most Inspiring TV or Streaming Movie or Program and the Best Television for Families award.
“It’s a joy to watch Jen Lilley and Matthew Morrison, as Emma and Leo, work their magic on the dance floor and in a fun dance routine with a street band,” Movieguide®’s review reads.
“Oh, it was a delight, a joy to be out there doing what I love to do, which is act sing and dance,” Morrison said of the movie. “I got to do it all, and…I had a great partner in Jen Lilley.”
