Jinger Duggar Vuolo Can’t Wait for Baby No. 3 — Here’s How She’s Preparing

By Movieguide® Contributor

In the third trimester of her third pregnancy, Jinger Duggar Vuolo explained how she is preparing for her third child and getting her two daughters involved in the process.

Duggar Vuolo and her husband Jeremy are welcoming their third child to their family. The little one will be their first son, adding to their two daughters Felicity and Evangeline Jo who are 6 and 4 years old respectively. As they have prepared, Felicity in particular has been excited to welcome the new member of the family.

“It’s been very sweet. So Felicity is 6, and she is all about the baby and just keeps talking about the baby and praying for the baby and she says she can’t wait to meet the little one,” Duggar Vuolo told Entertainment Tonight. “Felicity is stoked that she is going to be able to help. I think she’s going to be like a second mother to this kid because she’s very like, getting things done, telling everybody what to do. So this poor little boy is going to be bossed around a lot.”

“[Felicity] wanted to pick out things for the baby, and so she actually helped me [pick out the crib] because there were a couple colors of cribs, so she chose that,” she added. “And then [my daughters] had to get a stuff[ed animal] for the baby. They are all things baby.”

As for Duggar Vuolo, she is extremely excited to welcome her son, and with him coming in March, she has gotten into nesting mode, prepping the house for his arrival. She is also mainly focusing on just loving him once he arrives, rather than planning out the steps it will take to deliver him.

“I try not to think about labor or delivery. It freaks me out. So I’m one of those people who doesn’t have a birth plan. I’m like, ‘I’m going to the hospital. I don’t know who my doctor is going to be. I’m going to go in and have this baby,’ And then we’ll enjoy the baby,” she explained.

“I have all of the energy to, like, get things done. I’m in project mode now,” Duggar Vuolo added. “So, you’ll see me outside with a blower. The neighbors think I’m crazy but, like, I need to clean. I need to be outside doing all the yard work. That’s the mode I go into.”

But besides getting ready for baby boy, Vuolo just released her second book, “People Pleaser: Breaking Free from the Burden of Imaginary Expectations.”

“When I wrote my last book, ‘Becoming Free Indeed,’ I realized just how trapped I was by people-pleasing,” she admitted. “It was terrifying to speak up because I was so afraid of breaking relationships.”

She helps her readers find freedom from needing to please everyone. It starts with a mindset shift.

“True freedom comes when you stop trying to gain approval from others and start loving and serving them as Christ did,” Vuolo explained. “We were designed for community. God gave us friendship as a gift. But real community only happens when we’re willing to be vulnerable.”
