Christian music artist Katy Nichole recently announced a new, full-length album called ‘Jesus Changed My Life.’

Fans can expect the 11-song album to become available on Feb. 24.

The album features Nichole’s chart topping song, ‘In Jesus Name (God of Possible,’ as well as her previously released track ‘God Is In This Story.’

“Jesus is constantly refining my heart,” Nichole said of the title track in a recent press release. “Like a lot of the cries that are in the Psalms, when I find myself in a place of struggle, I turn back to Him. If Jesus could change my life then, He can change my life now.”

After bursting into the Christian music scene in 2022, it appears that she wants to build off her momentum.

A recent press release reads:

Along with being No. 1 on this chart for 44 percent of 2022, she also topped six Billboard Year in Music, the No. 1s issue radio and sales categories. She further garnered nominations for an American Music Award and a Dove Award (co-hosting and performing on the GMA Dove Awards Pre-Telecast) plus received a K LOVE Fan Award and made her Grand Ole Opry debut.

Launching into 2023 with this momentum, Nichole wrote the title track of Jesus Changed My Life with GRAMMY Award-winning Jonathan Smith and Dove Award-winning Benji Cowart.

Movieguide® previously reported of Nichole:

Christian singer Katy Nichole recently shared a TikTok video of her debut single, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible),” which amassed 80 million views.

After an influx of offers and an appearance of the song on K-Love, the 21-year-old artist signed on with the Christian label Centricity Music. Nichole became the first artist to stream a song on K-Love before being signed by a label.

Nichole recently shared the story behind “In Jesus Name,” which came from journal entries after a scoliosis diagnosis.

“I pray for your healing /That circumstances would change /I pray that the fear inside would flee /In Jesus name /I pray that a breakthrough would happen today /I pray miracles over your life in Jesus name,” the chorus reads.

After two surgeries on her spine, Nichole thanked God for healing.

“I go into the second surgery, and I come out of it, and the smoke cloud of depression was gone. I encountered the Lord in that moment,” Nichole told The Christian Post. “When I got my X-rays after surgery, my spine was actually straighter than when the rods had been in it. So when I say that God can do miracles, I mean it, because I’ve seen it.”

According to CP, Nichole also leads worship in her local church in Nashville and is dedicated to pointing people to Jesus through her music.

“If I had one thing that I could say to people, it’s that God is a God of healing,” Nichole told Centricity Publishing. “There’s no story that doesn’t matter to God. Every story was written by Him, and He’s the greatest author of all time. God’s healed me, so I know He can heal someone else. I’m going to share my story and hope it will encourage others to go and share theirs.”
