Sadie Robertson Huff Reflects on 2023: ‘Year of Growing Deeper’

Sadie Robertson Huff recently took to Instagram to reflect on 2023.
The former DUCK DYNASTY star shared some major things that happened and her goals for this past year.
“Signing off of IG for the week, because Passion Conference is ONE WEEK from today, AH!! Before I signed out I just wanted to post some things I learned this year! It was an absolutely incredible year bringing our sweet Haven into the family and moving into our home!” she wrote.
“I’m so grateful for 2023!” Huff continued. “My word for the year was intention I learned SO much with this word being at the forefront of my mind!”
She then shared a list of transformational things she did in 2023 to better herself, all based on the word “intention.”
“I took the first 7 months of this year off of social media,” Huff explained. “This was huge! This app [Instagram] became a place of way too much anxiety, but through taking time off and thinking through things intentionally, I came back with way more freedom and good boundaries!”
Huff also shared that she “took Fridays off for Family Day, practiced generosity big & small, practiced creativity (cooking, drawing princesses for Honey, painting with friends, ect), hosted a lot and loved every second.”
She concluded her post by sharing some books she read, including learning more about the Bible through “The Bible Project.”
“Overall, I gained so much perspective this year on life, faith, and others around me,” she said. “It was such a great year of growing deeper… so thankful for the incredible people I have around me who taught me so much this year just by being them! grateful for my family, friends, and people I get to work alongside. Excited for 2024!”
2024 is already gearing up to be another busy year for Huff. She’s kicking off the new year with a special 90-day challenge with her husband, Christian Huff, based on their new book “How to Put Love First.”

She’ll also be speaking at the Passion conference on Jan. 3-5.

One guest who impressed Huff was Nick Vujicic.
“He just preached the Gospel.” she said of his appearance on the “WHOA That’s Good” podcast. “He gave — it was a quote that he said that was so good, and he said, ‘If I don’t get a miracle, I can still be one.’”
Huff explained, “Sometimes we overlook the miracles that we have right in front of us, like, the fact that we’re alive, or that our brains work the way they do…it’s crazy we overlook these things.
