Grammy Award-Winning Artists Lecrae, Chris Tomlin, Matthew West Join Upcoming National Day of Prayer Celebration

Lecrae, Chris Tomlin, and Matthew West are joining together with ministry leaders for the National Day of Prayer Broadcast.
On May 5, Pray.com and the National Day of Prayer Task Force are hosting the event, which will take place at the Museum of the Bible in Washington, D.C.
“This annual celebration of year-round prayer brings together citizens from all backgrounds into the throne room of Heaven as we renew our reliance on our Almighty God, and as we lift up our hearts to heaven, praying biblically – not politically – and asking the blessings of God to rest on every leader in every area of influence in our country,” said Pray.com co-founder Matthew Potter.
“What an honor it is to have Chris Tomlin, Lecrae, and Matthew West join us for this important annual event,” Potter continued. “While these talented, award-winning artists are known for their engaging music, at the heart of everything they create is a desire to exalt the Lord. What a beautiful opportunity it is to have them publicly support this event and join us in prayer.”
In addition to the Grammy Award-winning artists, pastors A. R. Bernard and Skip Heitzig, ministry leaders Chip Ingram and Joni Eareckson Tada, Anne Graham-Lotz, Nick Hall, and National Day of Prayer Task Force President Kathy Branzell will also join the celebration.
The 2022 National Day of Prayer Broadcast will take place at 8:00 p.m. EST and will broadcast on networks like GodTV, Daystar Television Network, the Bott and Faith Radio Networks, in addition to being live streamed.

- Pray for Christians in Hollywood
Believe it or not, there are scads of Christians working in Hollywood. However, they often encounter significant criticism.
Please pray that Christians who have a large spotlight on them would exercise discernment in the projects they produce and promote.
Likewise, pray that the Holy Spirit would move on the hearts of non-believers in the industry to realize the influence – either good or evil – that their movies and projects carry (Mark 14:28).

- Pray that Hollywood would edify the good, true and beautiful
