‘Jelly Roll and Dave Ramsey Sitting in the Same Row’: Director Describes Church at Christmas
By Movieguide® Staff
Andrew Erwin, the director behind Movieguide® Award-winning projects like I CAN ONLY IMAGINE, celebrated the diversity at his church at Sunday’s Christmas service.
“I’ve never been more proud of my church fam than today,” Erwin posted to Instagram.
He then went on to describe how his church has grown over the past several years and named some key players in attendance.
“When we started going to @conduit.church 6 years ago it was a little church of 300 in the field across from my front door porch. Grateful to witness 4000 strong worshiping Jesus at Christmas this morning. @dannygokey helping lead worship with @jellyroll615 and @daveramsey sitting in the same row. God is moving here. Proud of my pastor @darrentyler @spaigetyler for their humble leadership over the years! Merry Christmas!”
Erwin is currently working on the sequel to I CAN ONLY IMAGINE. Jelly Roll has been on a spiritual journey for the last year, pursuing forgiveness for his crimes and sharing his testimony. He now spends his time and money ministering to people who struggle with addiction like he did.
“I always said that if I ever got in this situation, I would do everything I could to give back,” he said. “The fact that just me showing up places can make people happy is such a gift, and I feel like if God gave me that gift, I should show up.”
