By Movieguide® Staff
WHEN CALLS THE HEART star Jack Wagner shared why he values faith-filled, family-friendly entertainment while on the Movieguide® Awards’ red carpet.
“It’s been a big part of my life for years,” he said of uplifting content.
“I think the world’s in great need of support and faith…and some place that’s a safe place, really, to watch television and also be comfortable in your own home,” he told Movieguide®. “I’ve been on the series WHEN CALLS THE HEART and doing a lot of family friendly movies now for 12 years or so. So, you know, this is sort of…my home and…where I feel really great about what I’m doing.”
Wagner’s been part of WHEN CALLS THE HEART since 2014. After his son Harrison’s death in 2022, he thanked his fans for their support.
“Thank you all so much for the love and kindness that you’ve sent. I can’t tell you how much it’s meant to me,” he said at the time.
