NCIS fans, get ready for action-packed Tuesdays this fall — for the first time ever, CBS will air three NCISverse shows all night.
“Tuesdays introduce the first-ever all NCIS night featuring the #1 global franchise from 8:00-11:00 p.m.,” a press release from Paramount announced.
Starting in October, NCIS fans can watch new episodes of NCIS Season 23, NCIS: ORIGINS Season 2 and NCIS: SYDNEY Season 3, back to back to back.
So, what can viewers expect from the new seasons of their favorite NCISverse shows?
NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder told TV Line that the show’s cast and crew “really want to get to everybody in a big way.”
“I watch the show for the characters — that was always our thing — and I really want to make this a character-forward show in a way we haven’t seen before,” he shared. “So, if you’re invested in these people, this is going to be the season for you.”

As for NCIS: ORIGINS, creators Gina Lucita Monreal and David J. North weighed in on what fans can expect after that cliffhanger season finale.
“Going into this, we wanted to take big swings,” North told Us Weekly, with Monreal adding, “Our ultimate goal from the start was to make a show that the fans of the original show loved and felt satisfied by. But [it is] also [a show] that new viewers can come in from the beginning of NCIS: ORIGINS.”
She continued, “We’re really keen on sticking to canon [events]. We’re strict about that. We want to pay respect to the mothership. We both have written [for] the mothership and do love that show. But we also love branching out into our new characters and digging into their emotional lives.”
NCIS: SYDNEY viewers are in for plenty of new faces in the show, with showrunner Morgan O’Neill telling TV Insider, “There will be a couple of new characters coming along in Season 3.”
“The new characters that will arrive will in a lot of ways further that idea of the past coming back to haunt you, not in any kind of obvious way, but they’ll take our characters down the rabbit hole,” he continued. “And I suppose the question is, will they all make it back?”
CBS’ NCIS Night kicks off Oct. 14, so get ready for some drama-filled Tuesday nights this fall!
