Summer’s not over yet, but CBS just released its fall schedule lineup, including familiar favorites and some new shows.
“September is stacked with marquee events,” a press release from CBS promised, listing reality TV premieres for SURVIVOR (Sept. 24), BIG BROTHER (Sept. 28) and THE AMAZING RACE (Sept. 25), as well as the Emmy Awards (Sept. 14).
The press release added that “the official ‘CBS PREMIERE WEEK’ begins Sunday, Oct. 12,” including MATLOCK (Oct. 12), FBI (Oct. 13) and GEORGIE AND MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE (Oct. 16).
CBS also put together a specialized line-up for Tuesdays — all NCISverse, all night.
“For the first time, there will be an all NCIS night on Tuesdays with NCIS Season 23 premiering at 8 p.m., NCIS: ORIGINS Season 2 at 9 p.m. and NCIS: SYDNEY Season 3 at 10 p.m.,” Deadline reported.
The network will also introduce viewers to some new shows: SHERIFF COUNTRY, THE ROAD and the highly anticipated BLUE BLOODS spin-off BOSTON BLUE.
SHERIFF COUNTRY is a spin-off of FIRE COUNTRY, following Sheriff Mickey Fox, who was introduced in season 2 of FIRE COUNTRY. The show will premiere Oct. 17.
“She’s part of Edgewater, and we’re just expanding the Edgewater universe,” executive producer Tia Napolitano told TV Insider. “So I think it’ll feel like coming home when you finally are able to tune into SHERIFF COUNTRY.”

THE ROAD is a new singing competition show, executive produced by big names like Keith Urban, Blake Shelton and YELLOWSTONE showrunner Taylor Sheridan. It debuts Oct. 19.
“I know a thing or two about singing competitions and what it’s like to chase a music dream and live life on tour. I’m looking forward to discovering new talent and giving them this platform,” Shelton said in a statement.
BOSTON BLUE follows BLUE BLOODS’ Danny Reagan as he leaves the family and moves to Boston, but don’t worry — star Donnie Wahlberg has promised appearances from former BLUE BLOODS cast mates.
“Danny’s story will continue the Reagan family’s. You can’t have Danny without Reagans,” he assured fans, via TV Line, adding, “No BLUE BLOODS fans will be disappointed. We are really working on this universe in a way that I think the BLUE BLOODS viewers are going to be very happy.”
Along with Wahlberg, BOSTON BLUE stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Ernie Hudson, Maggie Lawson, Gloria Reuben and Mika Amonsen.
From the return of old favorites to premieres of new and exciting shows, it looks like CBS has an action-packed fall planned for its viewers!
