What You Need To Know:

Pierce Brosnan stars in AFTER THE SUNSET as Max Burdett, a veteran jewel thief. In the movie’s opening, Max, with help from his companion, Lola, played by Salma Hayek, steals the second of three so-called Napoleon diamonds. To steal the diamond, they humiliate FBI agent Stan Lloyd, played by Woody Harrelson. Max and Lola retire to the Caribbean, but Lloyd soon follows them down there. Lloyd follows their every move, especially when the third Napoleon diamond shows up on display in a fully-loaded cruise ship. Lola tries to keep Max in retirement mode, but Max can’t resist the challenge of making a fool out of Lloyd again.

AFTER THE SUNSET is a colorful, fast-moving heist movie, but the thieves get away with their booty. Pierce Brosnan plays the jewel thief with his usual Irish charm. Salma Hayek has her own charms as the seductive Latin beauty, and Woody Harrelson is funny as the put-upon FBI agent trying to turn the tables on his nemesis. There are a couple small twists at the end, but the thieves are not punished. AFTER THE SUNSET also contains foul language and sensual scenes featuring skimpy outfits.
