Court Bans Instrumental Version of ‘Ave Maria’!

The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, the court which has been most overruled by the U.S. Supreme Court, recently ruled that the Everett School District in Washington was correct when it banned the playing of an instrumental version of the song “Ave Maria” about the Virgin Mary during a graduation ceremony.

Atheist groups praised this unconstitutional ruling, even though “Ave Maria” is one of the most beautiful pieces of classical music ever written.

In fact, much of classical music is filled with positive references to Christianity and the Bible.

Apparently, atheists believe schools can teach children how to violate God’s Word by engaging in sexual activities before marriage, but they cannot enrich children’s minds with the Christian heritage of classical music that made Western Civilization great.

The United States Congress should disband the 9th Appeals Court and replace it with a court that cannot make such idiotic rulings like this in the future. The Congress and the President not only have the power to do this. They also have the power to limit the rulings of the Judiciary, including the Supreme Court, and define the meaning of the Constitution and the First Amendment, if only they would exercise it.
