‘So In Love’: NEEDTOBREATHE’s Seth Bolt and Wife Welcome First Child

By Movieguide® Contributor

NEEDTOBREATHE’s Seth Bolt and wife Tori just welcomed their first baby, daughter Amma Grace Bolt.

“Giving birth to Amma was the most surreal, transformative experience I have ever lived and unlike anything I ever imagined,” Tori told PEOPLE. “Passionate about having an unmedicated, natural birth, I spent the last nine months training my body and, more importantly, my mind, for the occasion.”

Amma was born August 19 in Nashville, Tennessee.

“After she arrived, our new family of three shared an intimate moment seated on the floor in the corner of that dimly lit room, sitting in silence and awe of this new life,” Seth said. “It was a sacred moment that will forever be imprinted in our memory.”

Tori shared that Seth came up with Amma’s name “before we even knew the baby’s gender,” adding, “It’s like he subconsciously sensed the presence of a daughter who would grace our lives.”

“Precious little girl is going to literally grow up above the clouds on the mountaintops of beautiful Whitwell, Tenn. at the Bolt Farm Treehouse,” Seth told PEOPLE. “So, we wanted a unique name that embodied this epic setting, and once I wrote out AMMA in all caps and saw that it was shaped like mountains, I fell in love with the name even though I had never seen or heard the name before.”

“We are so in love,” Tori continued. “She is as precious as our hearts are full. Until you become a parent, you truly can’t understand how much you will love your child. She has added so much purpose to our already purpose-filled lives.”

Seth added, “I’m the last member of my band (NEEDTOBREATHE) to join the parents club and I’m grateful to be surrounded by so many great examples of what it’s like to be a father. Don’t be surprised if you see her at our shows this fall … I want to bring my little buddy out on tour!”

Tori and Seth shared photos of Amma on Instagram, writing, “She is as precious as our hearts are full!!”

The couple announced Tori’s pregnancy earlier this year, telling People, “We are on top of the world!”

“We are well on our way, and now our little one will witness it all during this exciting new chapter,” Seth said.

Movieguide® previously reported on the pregnancy announcement:

Seth Bolt, the drummer for the Grammy award-nominated band NEEDTOBREATHE, is expecting his first child with his wife, Tori Bolt.

“WE’RE HAVING A BABY! 🎉❤️ It was on our treehouse honeymoon that we dreamed about our future children and the environment we wanted to raise them in… an environment where they could thrive in the great outdoors & grow up experiencing the joy of serving others,” the Bolts shared on Instagram.

“Those conversations & desires first gave birth to @boltfarmtreehouse, and now, 7 years later, we are thrilled to announce the birth of Baby Bolt in August 2023,” the couple added.

“Thank you, God, for the miracle of life!!” the post concluded.
