CBS’ Fall Line-Up Includes YELLOWSTONE, BLUE BLOODS and More

CBS released their upcoming fall schedule, which includes a broadcast run of YELLOWSTONE, BLUE BLOODS classic episodes and new versions of popular reality shows like SURVIVOR and THE AMAZING RACE.

Deadline reported that the network’s fall programming schedule will kick off on September 14 with a live episode of BIG BROTHER, followed by the premiere of BUDDY GAMES and a new episode of THE CHALLENGE: USA.

On September 17, YELLOWSTONE fans will get to see its broadcast debut on CBS.

YELLOWSTONE is coming up on its series finale, and fans can’t wait to see how things will end for the Dutton family.

Actress Kelly Reilly shared her expectations for the end of the show, telling Parade, “I’m coming to it almost the same as the audience. I mean, I have my hopes and thoughts for the character. Also, as I’ve played her for over five years now, I feel like I know her so well, but I’m still learning.”

BLUE BLOODS will return with three “Classic BLUE BLOODS Episodes” nights on September 29, October 13 and November 3.

CBS also announced plenty of reality shows and other unscripted series as part of the fall schedule due to the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

SURVIVOR and THE AMAZING RACE will premiere September 27 with 90-minute episodes, while new seasons of THE PRICE IS RIGHT AT NIGHT and LET’S MAKE A DEAL will debut October 2 and November 3, respectively.

The network also announced the debut of two new crime procedurals, FBI TRUE and SEAL TEAM, airing on October 3 and November 2, respectively. There will also be an NCIS mini-marathon celebrating the show’s 20th anniversary, airing September 25.

NCIS showrunner Steven D. Binder gave fans some details about what they can expect from upcoming episodes, saying, “We’ll be seeing their non-work life a little more. I think one of the cores of the show is the cases. The show’s called NCIS, it’s about the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. But anyone who watches the show knows that it’s really about the people on the show.”

Movieguide® previously reported:

CBS just released an unexpected line-up for the fall. The new schedule includes CBS’s BLUE BLOODS, Paramount’s YELLOWSTONE, and some reality TV shows.

“CBS on Monday announced a fall schedule heavy on reality TV and game shows, on which writers generally are non-union; reruns of cable, streaming and overseas series making their American broadcast debuts; and fan-favorite reruns of BLUE BLOODS,” Newsday reporter Frank Lovece writes.

This sudden schedule change happened as a result of the current Hollywood strikes that involve the SAG-AFTRA (The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) and WGA (Writers Guild of America) unions.
