The plan was to give teens a more “teen-appropriate” experience that had updated communication settings, content filtering and restricted access to adult spaces.
“[M]y prayer was, Lord, what matters most to me right now is my sons. I know my wife's going to be all right. I know I'm going to be all right no matter what I have to crawl through,” the HEAVEN IS FOR REAL director/writer said.
“I realized there was a real thirst for, I wouldn't call faith films…call them whatever you want. I just call them good movies that people want to see about things that really matter, that people want to see."
