X Games gold medal winner Brian Deegan shared how his faith guides his and his family’s lives.

In a family photo on Instagram, Deegan wrote, “Went to church today with the family, trying to find a good spot in the southeast. Just letting you in on the things that help me hold it together because as we all know, life can be very difficult at times and yet rewarding. Also, the foundation of Christianity has helped us in many ways basically the manual to holding it together. We are far from perfect, so I need all the help I can get. Stay strong my friends. Time for men to be bold!”

The X Games star prioritizes his family first. In a recent YouTube video, Deegan and his family took a much-needed vacation after a long year of racing.

The family went to Lake Powell, Utah, where they spent multiple days on a houseboat.

“So many memories in my phone pics,” Deegan shared on his Instagram. “Cool to go back and check it out to spark some good times. With a little effort you could be on a fun adventure exploring the country with the fam. I’ve traveled the world and some of the coolest things to see are in America out in the wild. You will never regret this time with the fam. Life goes by fast don’t waste it.”

This family time came right after his son, Haiden Deegan, 17, won his first-ever Super Motocross World Championships at the same stadium where his dad won his first and only supercross race.

The two were pictured side by side on the winning bikes from each race.

Deegan posted on social media, “Had to do it. What are the odds of my son winning his 1st SX same place I won my 1st SX. Seriously. Will it ever happen again? He didn’t even know he won the overall race for the day with a 5-2. What a year! Thx Team and our crew. We did it!! Good job kid! Now vacation!!”

Haiden finished the motocross season fourth in the points standings for a championship, higher than he or anyone else expected. He also received the 2023 AMA Motocross Rookie of the Year award.

In a YouTube video posted on their family channel, Haiden said in his post-race press conference, “I have to give it up to the man who comes first, Jesus Christ. He’s kept me safe and got me through this whole supercross and motocross season which was unreal.”

He added, “It’s a really big honor. This year’s been hard and never giving up because I’ll tell you about my bike blow up, I’ve crashed in first turns, came from last, and I just fought till the end. I’m gonna go home and work my butt off and try to fight for this [championship] next year.”

Motorsports icon Brian Deegan shared the value of what it means to have his family by his side.

In a recent family photo shared on Instagram, Deegan wrote, “A lot of memories in this room. A lot of highs and lows. A lot of good decisions and not so good. But that’s what makes it interesting. Proud of this pack. The gift of family. Fight for it. Psalm 127:3-52”

Psalm 127:3-5 reads, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.”
