Motorsports Pro Brian Deegan Talks ‘Gift of Family’: ‘Fight For It’

Motorsports icon Brian Deegan shared the value of what it means to have his family by his side.
In a recent family photo shared on Instagram, Deegan wrote, “A lot of memories in this room. A lot of highs and lows. A lot of good decisions and not so good. But that’s what makes it interesting. Proud of this pack. The gift of family. Fight for it. Psalm 127:3-52”
Psalm 127:3-5 reads, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him. Children born to a young man are like arrows in a warrior’s hands. How joyful is the man whose quiver is full of them! He will not be put to shame when he confronts his accusers at the city gates.”
If there is one thing Deegan values more than motorsports, it’s his faith and his family.

He wrote, “Through all the ups and downs, the highs and the lows, the wins and the losses, the fight worth fighting for. Don’t ever lose sight. As I’m not perfect, I’m just a man. As a man there are moments when you will question yourself and your self-worth and the job you are doing. It’s ok, we all deal with it. Just keep pushing forward.”
“I have found no better motivation then family. My Honor and Pride are loyal to them. #Faith#Family 🙏🏼” he concluded.
Brian Deegan left the post with Psalm 127:3 which reads, “Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.”
Recently, Deegan shared a video of his son, Haiden, racing under the stadium lights in Chicago, where he finished third.
He wrote, “This year is flying by so fast. Have to stop sometimes and really think about what has been done this year! I feel I may have underestimated the prep we have done the last decade to prepare for the pro ranks when I said didn’t expect to do so well so fast. The compound, the bikes, the coaches, the travel, the media etc. It’s working. Crazy.”
He added, “It must be a massive commitment by everyone involved. If you don’t stop to think about it things will slip by there’s so much to learn. Shows what hard work and preparation can do. The level of the sport is at an all-time high. You must always be learning and on point. The entire circle must be on the same page.”
