CeCe Winans Declares ‘There’s No One Greater’ Than God

Multi-time Grammy award winner CeCe Winans explains why there is no greater joy than that found in the Lord.
“The Bible says, in the presence of the Lord, there’s fullness of joy,” Winans said on TBN. “There’s no greater high, no amount of money, no amount of fame can come close to the greatness of God. Just look at the universe. He created everything, you know. And so there’s no one greater.”
The singer paraphrased Psalm 16:11, which reads, “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
“And if we, as believers, really believe that, we don’t get a chance to say, ‘He’s great’ today, and then tomorrow, we’re wondering if He’s great…if He’s great, then just let Him be great,” she continued. “You know, He’s paid the price. And as we continue to see Him for who He is, we’re going to live in victory. We’re going to experience the joy of the Lord. Not some of the time, all of the time.”
Winans is sharing joy through her new single, “That’s My King.”
Per The Christian Beat, “Winans unleashes a powerful declaration to her King accompanied by an uplifting arrangement beautifully produced by Kyle Lee. This is the perfect song for worship leaders to share with church congregations around the world.”
“This song brings me so much joy. You can’t sit still while listening to ‘That’s My King’ – It ushers in the power of God and puts us in the right posture of looking up and remembering that He is the King of kings!” Winans said of the track.
Winans shares her faith not only through her music but also on social media.
She recently shared Psalm 23:6, which says, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Gospel singer CeCe Winans is encouraging Christians to stand firm in their faith and continue to pursue the Lord even when it’s uncomfortable.
“This is a process, and basically, we all have to get comfortable with not knowing,” Winans said on “Better Together on TBN.” “We have to learn to embrace letting go. And that’s continuing. It never stops because for the rest of our lives, until Jesus returns, I think we get up wanting to be in control. And that’s why we have to take up our cross daily.”
“I don’t think it’s anything that you arrive at as long as we’re in this body,” she added. “I think the process is getting comfortable with letting go, and our flesh never gets comfortable with that, but our spirits, as we mature in the spirit, you understand that it’s always better to go. But it’s something you always have to fight for. It doesn’t automatically happen no matter how old you get, no matter how long you’ve been walking the Lord.”
