Erin Krakow let Hearties in on some behind-the-scenes sneak peeks of Season 13.
Season 13 sees her character, Elizabeth, and Nathan, Allie and Little Jack in Hope Valley after going to Cape Fullerton, Swoon reported July 30.
Krakow shared an Instagram snap of footage showing her and Kevin McGarry, who plays Nathan, together with goofy expressions on their faces.
“Tag someone who makes you smile like thiiiiis,” Krakow captioned the photo.
The photo read “proprietary and confidential Hallmark media.
McGarry commented, “CONFIDENTIAL!” and the official When Calls the Heart Instagram commented with a shocked face emoji.
Krakow added, “Some things are just meant to be shared.”
At the end of Season 12, Elizabeth and her son, Jack, ran to Cape Fullerton at midnight when Elizabeth found out his insulin wouldn’t arrive in time. Nathan and Allie joined them. Nathan told Elizabeth, “Where you go, I go.”
Season 13 showrunner Joy Gregory said about the season’s plot, “I am so excited that we got to launch them toward Cape Fullerton to literally put them on new territory, but they’re also very much on new territory. Now they’re going to co-parent someone who has a chronic illness.”

She added the show will focus on “watching their relationship mature together,” which includes “good times and challenges.”
It will also include Nathan’s adopted daughter, Allie’s, growth as she grows into teen-hood and her friendship with Oliver. Minnie Canfield will also be highlighted.
“We’re still discussing how much we’ll show of their time in Cape Fullerton,” Gregory said of the couple’s stay there, “but let me just say that home is where the heart is, and all of our hearts are in Hope Valley.”
On Instagram, the WHEN CALLS THE HEART hinted that Chris McNally’s character, Lucas Bouchard, will be highlighted in Season 13. “What does season thirteen have in store for Lucas? We can’t wait to find out!” it said.
Hearties are very excited for Season 13.
“I’m so excited for season 13 😊😊 and hopefully many more seasons too 😊😊💛💛,” one person wrote on the WTCH Instagram account’s announcement. “Can’t believe it’s here!! Happy tears!” another wrote. “We CANNOT wait!!!!!” a different follower added.
Another said, “I will always be ready for another season…even when Elizabeth & Rosie have silver in their hair & are rocking on the porch, reminiscing.
Hallmark says that Season 13 will come out in 2026 on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Channel but hasn’t revealed what part of the year fans can expect it to release. Fans can watch WTCH Seasons 1-12 on its streaming platform, Hallmark+.
