Anne Wilson just launched a new devotional for women called “Hey Girl.”

“This is one of my favorite things that I’ve ever gotten to work on,” she said in a K-Love video. “…I wrote this devotional to encourage young girls in their identity in Christ, but I also wrote this devotional to reach girls for Jesus.”

The devotional walks readers through 40 days of scripture-based guidance that focuses on identity, worth and purpose.

The book’s title is inspired by Wilson’s 2021 song, “Hey Girl.” Some of the lyrics are:

don’t you know you’re beautiful?
Crazy kind of wonderful, and there’s no one like you
(Hey girl) you don’t need to measure up
You are the treasure of the God who loves you

“Writing this devotional has been such a prayerful journey, and my biggest hope is that every girl who reads it feels seen, loved, and reminded of her worth in Jesus,” Wilson shared on her socials. “You don’t have to have it all together—He already calls you His. My prayer is that these pages bring you closer to His heart and give you courage to live boldly in who He’s made you to be!”

Wilson has an entire “Hey Girl Nation” community for those who want to “connect with new friends, find daily inspiration, and spread the message that Anne Wilson shares in her song, ‘Hey Girl,’” the website’s description says.

There, girls can sign up for Wilson’s text list and emails, read blogs related to Wilson and the song’s message, submit a prayer request and learn about the “Hey Girl of the Month.”

“Hey Girl” is Wilson’s second venture as an author. She previously wrote “My Jesus: From Heartache to Hope,” which was published in 2022.

In it, she shares how the loss of her older brother, Jacob, threw her into grief. After he died, God impressed on her to become an artist, and she gave up her dreams of being an astronaut. Through her experience, she shares hope and the gospel that saved her.

Sadie Robertson Huff praised “My Jesus:” “I love how Anne Wilson invites us into the cracks and crevices of her life and how she built her life on Jesus,” Huff said. “My Jesus is personal, and it takes you on a journey through some of the most foundational parts of Anne’s life that develop into a large picture where it is so clear that God was the artist of it all. As I read through each page, I felt like I was at coffee with Anne, hearing her story.”

Wilson’s books are available on Amazon and wherever books are sold.
