Hilary Swank Gives Birth to Twins: ‘Boy (and Girl!) Was It Worth It’

Hilary Swank, two-time Oscar winner and now mom at 48, gave birth to fraternal twins with husband Philip Schneider.

Over the course of her nine-month pregnancy Swank filmed her new show on ABC, ALASKA DAILY. She shared that when her pants didn’t fit her in October that she would cut them open and put a jacket over her stomach to hide her bump.
“You don’t tell for 12 weeks for a certain reason. But then, like, you’re growing and you’re using the bathroom a lot and you’re eating a lot. I’m sure there’s been conversations, and when I get back to the set, people will be like, ‘Oh, it all makes sense now,’ Swank stated.
While on the red carpet at the Golden Globes in January, Swank laughed and said she had “three months to go and I walked into a store the other day and this woman goes, ‘Honey, you better start jumping up and down to get that baby out.’ And this other woman like she’s like, ‘Oh, my God, three more months.’”
On her Instagram before the birth of her twins, Swank cheerfully asked her followers if she should use the song, Push It by Salt-N-Pepa on her delivery playlist.

Hilary Swank is expecting twins!
The actress recently announced that she and husband Philip Schneider, who have been together since 2016, are expecting their first children together.
“This is something that I’ve been wanting for a long time and my next thing is I’m gonna be a mom,” Swank said. “And not just of one, but of two. I can’t believe it.”
The actress shared that twins run in both her and her husband’s families, and that she is “so excited” to become a mom.
“It’s such a blessing. It’s a total miracle. It’s unbelievable,” Swank gushed.
Though Swank will be a first-time mother, she has been a compassionate caregiver before.
