Brittany Lutz, wife of TWILIGHT actor Kellan Lutz, is in the thick of motherhood, but that doesn’t stop her from worshipping God.

In a vulnerable video posted to Instagram, she shared what a relationship with God looks like as a stay-at-home mom.

“The household is holy ground,” she wrote in the caption, adding, “Every act serving your family and stewarding the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives is an act of worship.”

The accompanying video shows Lutz worshipping in her home with hands raised high, playing with her children and doing household chores.

“It can get tiring doing all the unseen little things and it can feel lonely in parts, but every act of service done unto the Lord doesn’t go unnoticed,” she continued.

Worship doesn’t have to be flashy and extravagant actions. Simply being faithful in the little things can honor God.

“When I’m feeling isolated or unseen in a hard moment, I close my eyes and remember that my Father in heaven sees me in that moment, Jesus Himself is with me in that moment, and the Holy Spirit is comforting me and ministering to me in that moment,” she explained.

Lutz concluded, “How amazing that as moms, even when we feel alone, we are *never* alone because the Creator of the universe is our dad and is always present 😭❤️”

People in the comment section expressed thankfulness for the reminder.

“I love this! Such a beautiful reminder in a season where we can feel alone or feel like we aren’t doing “enough”. Thank you for the reminder ♥️” on user said. Another person added, “I don’t know if it’s the lack of sleep from having a 3-month-old or what, but this made me so emotional. Feeling like I’m not doing enough when really, as SAHMs, we are 🥰”

Colossians 3:23 affirms Lutz’s heart, saying, “Whatever you do, do it enthusiastically, as something done for the Lord and not for men, knowing that you will receive the reward of an inheritance from the Lord.”

Lutz’ frequently uses her platform to encourage other women and mothers. In a post in May, she shared a photo with her children Ashtyn and Kasen, expressing her gratitude for motherhood. Daughter Ashtyn was born in 2020, and son Kasen arrived in 2022.

“I am so humbled that God chose me to raise these two. It is a privilege, honor and assignment I don’t take lightly,” she reflected. “But even as I sit in the beauty of my current reality, I can still feel the tangible weight of wanting this exact life so badly only to be met with negative tests, bad doctor’s reports, heartache and tremendous loss. But my God never fails.”

Lutz’s life is a reminded that God is with busy moms, and even though it’s hard, motherhood is important work.
