How This Family Inspires Christians to Get Into Creation Through Filmmaking

After growing up as missionaries in the jungles of Indonesia, the Wild brothers have brought adventure home to America to encourage others to seek the wonders of creation in their own backyards.

“Wild Brothers TV is the number one source of Great Commission entertainment for families,” Hudson Wild told CBN. “We want to expose young kids and families to what God is doing around the world, how He’s saving the nations.”

“But [Wild Brothers TV] is also a great source of entertainment. We love outdoor adventure, and I think all children are wired with the spirit of adventure,” he continued. “Sometimes they don’t really realize that though and they try to live vicariously through different means, media and video games. And so, our platform is centered around getting families adventuring outside, getting close to God.”

The four brothers — Morgan, 26, Hudson, 24, Kian, 22, and Asher, 20 — got into filmmaking while living as missionary kids in Southeast Asia.

“When our home church asked what it was like being modern day missionary kids, we discovered that the best way to answer was through filmmaking. This sent us on an incredible journey of documenting our lives and adventures on camera,” they shared on their website.

The brothers hope that their content will help kids and parents alike realize that when they choose to follow Christ, they are saying yes to a grand adventure. Furthermore, God calls everyone to join Him for this adventure, not just those who have a particular set of skills.

“Even Jesus, when He called people, He called people, regular everyday people like fishermen. And so what we’ve seen is that you don’t have to be someone special for God to use you,” Asher said. “And so for us, that meant actually being there on the tip of the spear in a remote tribe.”

“It’s not something that’s scary, it’s not something that they can’t attain to,” he continued. “Christ is the power. He fills us with this Holy Spirit and allows us to go and do great things. And so, we want people to see, man, what part could I play in that and to live sacrificially, whether that’s here in the States, [or] whether that’s overseas.”

Recently, the brothers expanded their content into the home as their wives have started a show revealing to young girls how they can have adventures while using their unique gifts and talents.

“It’s been awesome,” Hudson said. “Really, women are amazing and with four brothers, a bunch of knuckleheads, it was about time that the boys got some sisters and my mom finally got some daughters. The girls have their own show called WILD HOME on Wild Brothers TV because half of our audience are actually young women, and as four brothers we make a lot of guy-focused content, so the women are able to jump on the platform and add that feminine flair.”

Their next release? An animated series called WILD BROS.

“My brothers and I saw a need for a Christian animated series that’s, one, wildly entertaining as entertaining as the secular shows that are so exciting to your kids, and, two, that’s trustworthy without harmful messages,” Morgan said in a YouTube video announcing the series. It loosely follows the adventures the brothers had while missionary kids.

“This new series will get your kids excited about their faith, discovery and the ultimate adventure in life following Jesus Christ,” he added.
