Emmy Award-winning actor Paul Walter Hauser and his wife Amy revealed that they are expecting baby No. 3 to arrive late this summer.
“We’re excited to share that the Hauser Family ‘Grand Finale’ will arrive late summer 2025!” the couple wrote on an Instagram post announcing the news. “Thank you, Jesus! For this child we have prayed. – 1 Samuel 1:27.”
The announcement included cute photos of the Hausers’ other kids wearing pajamas that labeled the eldest, Harris, as “The Original,” the middle child Jonah as “The Sequel,” along with a onesie for their expected baby as “The Grand Finale.”
Paul and Amy share an incredible story that points to redemption only possible through God. After separating only two months after marriage and Paul pursuing the follies of this world, it is truly incredible that they are now enjoying a healthy marriage and raising a stable family.

“What the world would have said was dead in our lives, Jesus came back and said, ‘No, it’s not finished, it’s alive,’ and He breathed life back into our marriage,” Amy said. “And that’s the thing about God is He makes broken things beautiful. He takes the things that felt like shattered pieces of glass, and He’s putting it back together, piece by piece, and its just been beautiful to see how He’s restored it.”
Paul is just as thankful for the restored relationship and cannot believe how much the Lord has blessed His life. After realizing just how terrible he had treated Amy, he returned to her after their split and shortly after asked if she would take him back.
“When I owned up to things that I had done — wrong things that she knew and things that she didn’t know that I had done wrong — once I did that and leaned into reconciliation, she was on board. She had reservations. She had worries and concerns, as someone should in her position that I put her in, but she was just asking me to be kind and accountable,” Paul said.
