Children’s media company Pocket.watch teamed up with nine new YouTube channels to create and distribute their existing catalogues of videos.

“Our goal is to meet creators where they are, then help them reach even greater heights,” Chase Landau, Senior Vice President, Creator Partnerships at pocket.watch, stated. “At pocket.watch, we don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions — we build bespoke partnerships designed to maximize every revenue stream, expand brand potential, and unlock new opportunities across platforms, licensing, and distribution.”

Pocket.watch is set to co-develop and co-produce content, as well as distribute the existing videos, of ChuChu TV (175 million subscribers), Super Simple Songs (60.7 million), Not Enough Nelsons (15.1 million), SuperHeroKids (7.5 million), Tyler & Snowi (4.4 million), The River, Wilder & Archer Show (1.8 million), Kylee Makes It (270,000), PrettyBored (two million) and The Braxton, Ryder & Sawyer Show (920,000), per Kidscreen.

ChuChu TV and Super Simple Songs are major gets for Pocket.watch, as the pair have collectively earned almost 200 billion views with their nursery-rhyme and educational song videos.

In addition to co-producing and distributing these creators’ content, Pocket.watch will also handle YouTube monetization and advertising.

Pocket.watch has been steadily increasing not only its number of content creators but the online platforms where audiences can find their videos.

Earlier this year, Deadline reported that the kids’ entertainment company had expanded its reach to streaming platforms like Hulu, Peacock and Amazon Kids+.

Speaking to the outlet about the power of kids content and family-friendly media, David B. Williams, SVP/GM Channels at pocket.watch, said, “They drive tons of engagement, subscriber growth and retention, and there’s simply no content that resonates with them as powerfully and consistently as creator content.”

Pocket.watch’s mission, he explained, is “transforming this content, at scale, into high-quality, kid-safe, enriching shows that are ready for premium services.”

Founder and CEO Chris Williams described how they find and choose content creators for their company, saying, “We have a rigorous vetting process for identifying creators and curating their content, ensuring it meets the highest standards for kids’ safety.”

“We focus on YouTube creators because, as the only platform with specific accommodations for under 13 audiences, YouTube is the clear leader with kids in terms of both viewership and monetization,” he continued.

Pocket.watch’s latest additions to its stable of content creators is a smart move as it continues to work on widening its audience base and reaching more viewers.
