Sadie Robertson Reflects on God’s Love: ‘He Came to Us’

By Movieguide® Contributor

Sadie Robertson Huff recently reflected on God’s love in a sermon shared on her Live Original Instagram.

“You don’t have to shout your name from the rooftop, and you don’t have to go out and look for this God somewhere,” Huff began. “In every other religion, that’s what you have to do. You have to go find God, but we serve a God who found us. We serve a God that we didn’t have to go to Him.”

“He so loved the world. He came to us,” she continued. “He left the comfort of heaven to position himself on a cross to position himself in a grave so that you could get out of it and live a life. What a story. What a story.”

Many followers commented their thoughts.

One follower said, “The best feeling knowing nothing we can separate us from him 🙌 amen.”

“GLORY to His name.🙌 Love you JESUS,” another follower wrote.

Huff focuses on God’s love through her and her husband Christian’s new book, “How to Put Love First.”

“You are meant to be in relationships that bring joy and connection—that help you know soul-deep peace and leave you feeling loved instead of lonely…”How to Put Love First” reminds you that prioritizing and deepening your love relationship with God is the key to growing healthy relationships in every area of life,” a synopsis of the book reads.

In conjunction with their book, the Huffs recently announced a new 90-day challenge their fans can participate in.

“Join our FREE 90 Day Challenge!! Be encouraged daily by Sadie, Christian, and friends!! Sadie Robertson Huff and her husband Christian gave Movieguide® a sneak peek of their new book, sharing wisdom on relationships and what they want to teach their children.

“It’s not necessarily a relationship book in the way that you think of relationship books,” Sadie explained. “It’s not romantic relationships…[It instead] leads people to a relationship with God, and I believe if you put God first – which is essentially putting love first because God is love – if you put God first, then love will flow into every relationship.”

“Ultimately, it’s a relationship book with God, it’s a relationship book with people around you and how your relationship with God influences all of those relationships in your life,” she added.
