Trevor Donovan Shares How ‘Morally Uplifting’ Movies Bring His Family Together
By Movieguide® Staff
Great American Family star Trevor Donovan is hosting the 31st Annual Movieguide® Awards, and he explained how uplifting entertainment brings his family together.
“I love being able to make these movies that are morally uplifting and inspiring,” he told Movieguide®. “It just sets a good example for people watching, and it’s cool to see my little niece watching along with my parents and grandparents. So yeah, couldn’t be happier.”
He noted that it’s “pretty surreal” to host a Hollywood awards show, adding, “I’m honored to be here, for sure.”
Donovan will continue to focus on inspiring content with his upcoming movie about President Ronald Reagan.
“I do have a movie coming out with Dennis Quaid, who happens to be here, and he’s playing with his band tonight as well. He plays Reagan in Reagan’s biopic called REAGAN. So looking forward to that coming out in theaters and then looking forward to getting back to work with GAF,” he said.
Donovan will host the Movieguide® Awards Broadcast on Great American Family March 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
