What a Dog Taught This Actress About Faith

What a Dog Taught This Actress About Faith

By Jessilyn Lancaster, Managing Editor

Actress Kathryn Prescott says faith and loyalty were put on display in A DOG’S JOURNEY through her character, CJ’s storyline.

“I think CJ felt like nobody had faith in her and, therefore, couldn’t really have faith in herself and didn’t really have faith in like anything,” Prescott tells Movieguide®.

“That’s why she let some people come into her life that she would have been better off without,” Prescott says. “I think having a dog have faith in her, especially when she realizes that it’s been this spirit of this one dog that keeps fighting to come back and protect her. I think that was a very kind of comforting, strengthening thing for her.”
