Alexa PenaVega calls this her “immune-boosting drink,” and her kids like to call it their “healthy coffee.” Whatever name you go with, one thing’s for sure—it’s super tasty. Alexa loves making this to help keep her family’s immune systems strong and to sneak some healthy fats in first thing in the morning.
Alexa PenaVega’s “Immune boosting beverage”
1 adult serving size
1.5 cups of Milk
2 droppers of Alcohol-free Vanilla Extract
1 dropper of liquid elderberry
1 dropper of liquid acerola or liquid vitamin C
1 packet of Stevia
Pinch of cinnamon to taste
Place milk in a small saucepan. Heat over medium/medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until warm (but not boiling).
Add elderberry, acerola, vanilla extract, and stevia.
Take off heat sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon (if desired).
Pour into mug, serve immediately.
