An occult content creator with nearly one million followers, Alexandra Ashcroft, shocked the internet when she announced she has become a Christian and deleted all her tarot card content.
Ex-psychic Jenn Nizza was in the same boat. At age 13, tarot cards were her entry into the occult.
“I can relate so much, because, when Jesus first called me, first started to draw me, I was a psychic medium,” said Nizza. “So, when Jesus first started drawing me out of that darkness, it was not an instant deliverance; it was a process.”
Her transformation occurred over 10 months as she explored Christianity.
“Jesus fully set me free and I became born again,” she explained. “[I] accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior and believed into the Gospel.”
Alex, whose handle previously was Alex Reads Tarot, also had a long journey to faith as she wrestled with questions and her current practices.
Ashcroft said, “I don’t know exactly what comes next for me, but what I do know is that Jesus Christ has saved my life, and I can no longer ignore that reality.”

Nizza told CBN News she’d be “happy to talk to” Alex and urged her to join “a solid, biblically based church” where she can be “discipled” in her faith, if she hasn’t already.
“You need your pastors,” said Nizza. “You need your brethren to support you, encourage you. Of course, God first. Reading your Bible daily, praying daily, because that is actually how we are protected in the spiritual battle.”

Ashcroft talks about her faith in all of her recent videos.
“If the world hates you, remember it hated Jesus first,” she said in one video. “They crucified Him and what I’ve been working through with Jesus is…the truth of…His crucifixion.”
Ashcroft knows many of her former followers may struggle to understand her decision. But once she felt God’s love, she didn’t want to let go.
“I know that some people may find this decision surprising,” she said. “And some people may wonder how I can be saying this after spending years of doing the work that I’ve done — but all I can do is be honest.”
Her new TikTok account, Alexcouarageinchrist, has over 50,000 followers.

On her own socials, Nizza explained that the occult community is attacking Ashcroft, and she knows exactly what that’s like.
“I know what it costs,” she said. “That is not a stunt. That is what salvation looks like.”
While the backlash continues, both Ashcroft and Nizza say leaving the occult behind was worth everything they lost to follow Christ.
