DOLITTLE

Quality:
****
Content:
+1 Moderately questionable elements. (Discernment required for young children.)
DOLITTLE is a charming, funny, sweet family movie based on the Doctor Dolittle book series for children. In the movie, Dr. Dolittle emerges from seclusion to help find an antidote for the teenage Queen of England, who’s been poisoned. Imaginative, fast-paced and heartwarming, DOLITTLE features a strong Christian, morally uplifting moral worldview stressing marriage, helping others, friendship, teamwork, prayer, and faith, with some light environmentalist elements and light pagan elements.

BAD BOYS FOR LIFE

Quality:
****
Content:
-3 Excessive sex, violence, immorality, and/or worldview problems. (Sometimes excessive content such as violence is in otherwise redemptive movies.)
In BAD BOYS FOR LIFE, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprise their roles as two Miami police detective fighting criminals, but this time a mysterious, vicious killer is targeting Smith’s character for maximum pain before he kills him. BAD BOYS FOR LIFE has lots of explosive action and lively humor, and even some positive Christian content, but it’s heavily marred by constant R-rated foul language, some extreme bloody violence with many wild gunfights and several strong lewd comments intended for laughs.
