More Detail:

THE SNOOPY SHOW is an animated Apple TV+ original series inspired by Charles Schulz’s animated comic strip PEANUTS. All the episodes are made up of three short segments that follow Snoopy and the gang through new adventures as they navigate childhood friendship. THE SNOOPY SHOW promotes redemptive elements, moral behavior, and features the occasional educational lesson.

Snoopy’s big imagination is brought to life throughout the series, leading him and the others into new adventures that stress themes of love, loyalty, friendship, and education. Though the characters may disagree at times, they can always put their differences aside and come together.

THE SNOOPY SHOW presents content that is acceptable for children and families. However, parents of young children may want to watch this along with them because some of the lessons may be hard to determine for younger viewers. The episodes are filled with fun segments, dancing, music, and adorable moments of friendship. The redemptive nature of the show is seen through accountability and admitting when one does wrong.

In Season Three, viewers can watch Snoopy’s daydreams come to life, such as being a pirate searching for buried treasure, a secret agent following clues, a leprechaun playing tricks, or soaring through the sky as his alter ego, the “Flying Ace.” Snoopy often commits wrongs but is sure to make it right in a redemptive manner. Also, some episodes have educational content about subjects such as the Statue of Liberty, when Peppermint Patty needs help with her report. The episode presents the viewer with three facts that describe the statute’s importance. However, some parents may want to note that the third episode of Season Three does try to educate viewers on Irish folklore and leprechauns.

The familiar and lovable characters make the series enjoyable for the whole family. Snoopy’s bond and friendship with Charlie Brown will warm your heart. Snoopy exhibits many great qualities such as loyalty to his sidekick, Woodstock, by rescuing him repeatably from danger. Even though Snoopy has many good qualities, he often has a short temper when things don’t go his way. So, some parents may want to shield their children from this.

Overall, Season Three of THE SNOOPY SHOW is delightful and appropriate for all ages. The new series continues in the tradition of the original comic strip by promoting positive moral lessons and stressing the importance of friendship.
