Addicted to Facebook?

A survey of Evangelical Christian college students reveals that their time spent on social networking websites like Facebook is taking time away from other areas of their life.

More than half (54%) reported that social networking was making them neglect “important areas of their life.” One-third (33%) out of 1,342 students between 18 and 27 are spending 1-2 hours per day on Facebook, 12% are spending 2-4 hours per day, and 2.8% report 4-7 hours per day.

Finally, 21% felt their time with electronic activities caused a conflict with their Christian values.
