Elton John Goes Off the Deep End

In February, popular singer and composer Elton John said, “I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems.”

Say what???!!??

Elton John’s statement shows the severe lack of knowledge of our age.

For centuries, people who were educated had read the Bible. The Bible makes it clear that Jesus Christ says that He is God and proves that He is God. As C.S. Lewis says, from the Bible we can only conclude that Jesus is God, a lunatic, or something worse. The resurrection and transformation of billions of lives is the seal of approval of His Godhood. As such, He is neither a vengeful man as Martin Scorsese portrayed him in THE LAST TEMPTATION OF JESUS CHRIST, nor an auto-erotic self-obsessed hedonist as Elton John accuses him.

Jesus Christ is the Creator and His death and resurrection offers all of us, including Martin Scorsese and Elton John, the wonderful gift of deliverance from sin, forgiveness for our failings and transgressions, and eternal life.
