Chuck Norris Shares His Hilarious Top 10 ‘Chuck Norris Facts’

By Movieguide® Contributor

Chuck Norris recently revealed that he knows the internet’s jokes about him and shared some of his favorites.

“For those who have somehow not heard of the so-called ‘Chuck Norris Facts,’ they are mythical expressions about my life and abilities – a collection of sayings, quips and quotes, created by young and old alike, that have elevated my life and tough-guy image to super-exaggerated hyperbolic ends,” the actor explained

He continued, “The Chuck Norris Facts have also reconnected me to the younger generations. To some who know little of my martial arts or action-film careers but perhaps grew up with (reruns of) WALKER, TEXAS RANGER, it seems that I have become a somewhat mythical superhero. I am flattered and truly humbled.”

Norris then shared his Top 10 Favorite Chuck Norris Facts:

    1. If you spell Chuck Norris in Scrabble, you win. Forever.
    2. The dinosaurs looked at Chuck Norris the wrong way once. You know what happened to them.
    3. Chuck Norris can dribble a bowling ball.
    4. Chuck Norris can do a wheelie on a unicycle.
    5. Chuck Norris is the only person that can punch a cyclops between the eye.
    6. We live in an expanding universe. All of it is trying to get away from Chuck Norris.
    7. Before he forgot a gift for Chuck Norris, Santa Claus was real.
    8. Chuck Norris can speak Braille.
    9. Chuck Norris can tie his shoes with his feet.
    10. Chuck Norris’ belly button is actually a power outlet.

“The reason these ‘Facts’ are so hilarious is that everyone knows I’m as human as anyone else,” the actor explained. “I know that might be hard for some of you jokesters to imagine! But it’s true.”

Norris continued, “The real fact is, if my life can be used to bring a little levity into people’s life around the world, I’m all for it. There’s so much wrong going on today, and we can use a few more smiles and joy to go around.”

The actor is known for his martial arts skills and healthy lifestyle, something he says he prioritizes.

“For me, my values are freedom, family, fitness, faith and fight,” he told The Healthy. “Prioritizing fitness and nutrition allows me to be more active with my loved ones, and a healthy body will offer me many happy years with them.”

Norris also points to prayer as a part of his daily routine that keeps him happy and healthy.

“I’m not suggesting that we pray for the sole reason to get physically or mentally fit, have better relationships, or even live longer,” he said. “But if those are beneficial byproducts of the practice, why not make it a greater priority than joining a gym? If the God of the Universe hardwired us for relationship and communion with Him, doesn’t it make sense that prayer would yield a plethora of benefits and blessings?”

Movieguide® previously reported on Norris:

Chuck Norris recently shared why an epidemic of loneliness and isolation is sweeping across America and revealed its cure.

“Scholars say living alone is not a trend so much as a transformation: Across much of the world, large numbers of people are living alone for the first time in recorded history,” Daniel de Visé explained in a recent article.

“The U.S. Census shows that ‘solitaries’ made up 8 percent of all households in 1940. The share of solo households doubled to 18 percent in 1970 and more than tripled, to an estimated 29 percent, by 2022,” de Vise continued…

Rather than turning to worldly things to cure loneliness, Norris encourages people to turn to God, who satisfies every desire.

Norris quotes Randy Alcorn, saying, “God is primary; all other forms of happiness – relationships, created things, and material pleasures – are secondary. If we don’t consciously see God as their source, these secondary things intended for enjoyment can master us… When we invite God into our happiness, we become aware of how He invites us into His.”
