Actress Jen Lilley recently shared how her faith informs her decisions when working on creative projects.
“I am not here to convince anyone of what I believe, but I’m a Christian, and I really set aside a huge chunk of my morning…to spend time in prayer and reading the Bible,” she said during an episode of the “Manifesting Your Mission” podcast.
Lilley continued, “For me, because I think maybe it’s everyone’s struggle…it’s easy to fall into the trap of self-promotion….instead, it helps me focus on ‘What is the audience that I’m serving? Why do I want to create this? What is the purpose?’”
“Faith plays a huge role for me,” she emphasized. “It helps me see people through the lens of heaven…God is amazing, and my job is to reflect Him and not myself.”

Lilley often encourages others to pursue a deeper relationship with God. In an interview with The Christian Post, she shared, “I really want people to feel seen, valued, loved and known. I think that’s what every single person wants. I know that’s what I want.”
“I think that’s how God created us,” the actress continued. “And so, the very first thing I want is for unbelievers — if they’re seeking truth and they’re asking the big questions — to find that with Jesus.”
Lilley recently revealed her latest creative project — A ROYAL SETTING, which sees her team up with former Hallmark co-star Dan Jeannotte. The pair previously worked together on PARIS, WINE, & ROMANCE.
“Working with Dan again was such a joy. Having history together makes the on-screen chemistry feel effortless — it’s already there, and you just get to play,” she told Swooon. “We laughed a lot, worked hard, and I genuinely couldn’t ask for a better scene partner. I can’t wait for fans to see what we created — it feels really special!”
Jeannotte added, “Reuniting with Jen was such a treat! She really sets the gold standard for how great a costar can be. She’s so good at what she does, and such a professional… but also (and this is crucially important to me) she can be very, very silly. All around, she’s a wonderful person to be on set with. I consider myself doubly lucky to have had a chance to work with her a second time!”
Lilley is one of the many Hollywood stars using her platform as an actress to share her faith with others.
