Kathie Lee is celebrating a new addition to her family, as her daughter-in-law Erika announced she is pregnant with her third child, who would be the fourth grandchild to join the family.
“✨ Gifford, party of cinco 🥹,” Erika wrote on an Instagram post announcing the news. “🫧 Our little blessing on the way was prayed for, dreamed of, and is already so deeply loved. 20 weeks in and we can’t wait to meet the newest member of our crew. 🩵🩷”
Kathie Lee Gifford is so excited to celebrate her daughter-in-law’s news and add another grandchild to her family.
“I am beyond filled with joy that this magnificent secret is finally out! So grateful to God for His faithfulness and loving kindness, and so thrilled that both of my children married beautiful spouses, and are incredible, loving, tender, and tough parents, just like I had,” Gifford wrote in the comments on the post.
Gifford first became a grandparent in the summer of 2022 and has loved stepping into this new role and supporting her children as they start their parenting journeys. She loves being part of her grandkids’ lives, even setting up a nursery in her home so they could be comfortable when at her house.
“It’s a beautiful season of new beginnings for me,” she previously told PEOPLE. “I wish more people as they age felt that way about the process — that God is not finished with them. As long as we have a pulse, we have purpose.”
Meanwhile, with each new grandchild to join her family, Gifford feels a new sense of blessing as more as more life comes about.
“What a joy to spend sweet time with baby Finn,” she said after the birth of her third grandchild. “I am the most blessed woman. It seems!”
“They’re such blessings,” Gifford later added about her grandkids. “[I have] sheer joy watching my children with their children.”
Kathie Lee Gifford’s joy at new life and praise for the Lord as her family grows is in line with the rest of her career as she has kept God at the focus throughout it all. She previously explained how from the start, she was aware that she had been given a platform to spread the Gospel, and everything else she did was secondary to that.
“Ever since I entered this industry in a full-time way, when I was 17 years old, the Lord was very, very clear with me and He said: Never separate the secular from the spiritual. ‘You live in my world, you live in my world,’” Gifford explained. “People will try to say [Hollywood is] secular…[People say] there is such a godless world there. [But] God is everywhere.”
It is amazing to see Kathie Lee Gifford live this out in her personal life and spread this joy of creation she looks forward to meeting her next grandchild.
