‘Grateful To God’: Kathie Lee Gifford Celebrates Birth Of Grandson

Kathie Lee Gifford’s son Cody and his wife Erika have just welcomed baby No. 2.
“Introducing the newest love of our lives, Ford Matthew Gifford,” Erika posted on Instagram, along with photos of the newborn. “Thanking God immensely for another perfect ‘gifft.’ Welcome to the world, sweet sweet son.”
Gifford commented on her daughter-in-law’s post, writing, “I am usually a wordsmith but I am completely out of words. #Grateful to God the creator of every good and perfect gift like these four.”
Erika announced her pregnancy earlier this year in an Instagram video featuring clips of the family, including 1-year-old son Frankie.
“Baby Gifford #2 coming this winter,” she wrote. “Thank you so much for all of the love and prayers. It has meant the world. Gifford, party of 4!!! #2under2 #sisterORbrother.”
Erika kept fans updated on her pregnancy via social media. In one sweet post, she wrote about Frankie’s reaction to getting a sibling.
“I know I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again!! The way Frankie comes up to my belly and says ‘hi!’ and ‘baby’ and gives my belly so many kisses all the time just absolutely melts us,” she captioned a photo of herself and her son. “I’ve always thought babies and kids know things we don’t because they’re the closest to heaven but it’s almost hard to believe what he gets already at his little age. Can’t wait to see him as a big brother but really just in the mode of soaking these times in because they are so precious with just him.”
In addition to Frankie and Ford, Gifford is also grandmother to daughter Cassidy’s son Finn, who was born in June of this year.
“What a joy to spend sweet time with baby FINN,” Gifford wrote in an Instagram post. “I am the most blessed of women. It seems!”

The former TODAY show host previously announced the exciting news that her son, Cody, and his wife, Erika Brown, had a baby boy in May.
“It’s just beautiful,” Gifford told PEOPLE. “Everybody says it is. I FaceTime with him every day and he’s just a wonderment.
“He’s extraordinary,” she added. “And everybody thinks their own grandchild is the best in the world, so I won’t say anything other than they’re right, their grandchild is.”
