Pixels of Hope Studios and Studio 523 partnered with Fathom Entertainment to bring their new movie, STILL HOPE, to theaters.

It raises awareness about the difficulties people face when trying to reintegrate into society after being rescued from sex trafficking.

“The powerful story of these women portrayed through the character of Hope shows that healing and forgiveness are possible,” Richie Johns, the director and producer of the movie, said in a statement. “Our prayer is that STILL HOPE will give a voice and platform to the courageous individuals who have personally walked this journey and become a rallying cry for those who are boldly standing along with them.”

“Unlike other films, this story isn’t just about the rescue piece but also about redemption, resilience, and walking alongside survivors on their journey to healing,” added Kathrine Lee, co-founder and CEO of Pure Hope Foundation, a non-profit fighting sex trafficking. “It highlights the bravery of women and men who have endured sex trafficking and the courageous work of recovery. That’s why this film is so important.”

The average American’s awareness of human sex trafficking skyrocketed after 2023’s SOUND OF FREEDOM. Since then, multiple other movies have tackled the the same topic, helping the public understand that this is an issue taking place on U.S. soil, not just overseas.

In fact, many of the largest tech companies have enabled and profit from sex trafficking, such as PornHub, Discord and Meta.

“We’ve heard from moderators at Meta they can see illegal conduct is occurring and that there are concurrent transactions through Meta Pay, but they have no way of communicating what they are seeing internally to moderators as Meta Pay,” Gretchen Peters, the executive director of the Alliance to Counter Crime Online, said in 2024 when exposing Meta’s practices.

Meanwhile, non-profits, like the Tim Tebow Foundation, work tirelessly to tackle this problem and keep people safe from this multi-billion dollar industry, both in America and abroad.

“I believe that human trafficking and child sexual exploitation are two of the greatest evils we face today,” Tim Tebow wrote in a 2023 Instagram post. “@timtebowfoundation has been in this fight for more than ten years and been blessed to expand our impact across 30 countries. Through our team and partners, we have created and operate 20 safe homes with 22 more in progress and protected more than 2,000 victims while helping bring 500+ perpetrators to justice.”

STILL HOPE will continue to serve this mission as it helps raise awareness about the difficulties those who have been saved from human trafficking face. The movie will play to theaters nationwide Feb. 5-9, 2026.
